Pre-season is winding down and the Premier League's back on 22 August - here's what's caught our eye this week.

Arsenal go into the new campaign as defending champions after winning their fourth Premier League title and 14th English title overall last season. Bruno Guimarães has completed a move from Newcastle to Arsenal, one of the bigger deals of the window so far. Meanwhile Liverpool are closing in on a season-long loan deal for Barcelona defender Ronald Araújo, while a move for PSG's Bradley Barcola looks harder to complete, with the two clubs said to be far apart on valuation.
